Need thoughts and a laugh
Sep. 20th, 2009 06:59 pmBeloved looney tunes, I need your help. My grandmother is in the hospital on a ventilator and it's not looking good. My mom's saying that we might have to take her off it and let her go this week. *Sniffles* My mother's words to her eldest brother was: 'If you want to see your mother alive, you better make plans to head north because if I have to make a decision, I want all of us here and accounted for' (my mother is one of five children).
This is what I need (other than a stiff drink and maybe some cigarettes and M&Ms) I need some funny and/or sweet SPN story recs. Something with the boys being brothers instead of adversaries. Please? With whip cream and Sam and Dean on it?
Update 9-21-09: Well, things aren't looking any better. I just talked to my mother and she's saying that they're going to meet with some people at the hospital and ask my grandmother if she wants the ventilator taken out since her living will says that she doesn't want to be kept on life support and the ventilator is basically what's keeping her alive. If she wants to be taken off of it, my uncle is going to come up from Tennessee. The only hold-out is my uncle Johnny, he's the youngest of the five kids and he's taking this the hardest and doesn't want to take her off of the ventilator but my grandmother's already made it very clear in her living will that she doesn't want to be kept on life support. *Sighs* Good thing I washed my good clothes last week because I'm probably gonna need them in the next few weeks.
