I'm incredibly nervous right now, a lady that attends my parents's church has asked me to teach her children how to play the piano. I studied piano for six years and still play, but the thought of teaching someone else makes me incredibly nervous. I haven't said yes, just that I would look into it but still. *bites nails*

You'll be fine. You can always do it with the understanding its a trial run. My sons teacher (who had been teaching for over 30 years) always took new students with that preamble to the contract. & yes you need a contract, church lady or not.

My poor son though was let go as he could not read any notes, but by his 3rd lesson was playing what 10 years students where learning - my son plays by ear & its really hard to find a teacher that is willing to teach that. Oh well Baseball is is live now anyways LOL

I can see why you'd be nervous but I think at the same time, you feel excitement at the idea yes? I think you should go for it and have a go :). What's life without a little adventure!
Personally, I think you'll do just fine :)

I am a little excited by the thought and they're well behaved kids but I'm still nervous about it. I'm probably going to do it, but still, *bites nails a little* ♥
