Don't freak out, this isn't my house or my neighborhood(thankfully). At 11pm Saturday night, we were all winding down our days when we heard a boom and our house shook, scaring the living hell out of us. Not seeing anything outside, we kept an eye on the news, we found out that a house 1.5 miles south of us blew up. No one's sure how or why but two people are dead, two houses were completely flattened and several more are damaged beyond repaired.

No, they keep mentioning natural gas but no one reported smelling anything, but they swear that there wasn't a bomb and the place wasn't a meth lab, so we don't know. All we know was there was a big boom.

WOW!

What exactly happened? Gas leak?

No one's sure. We've heard all kinds of rumors, the best bet is a gas leak, though there were no reports of anyone smelling gas. Whatever it was was powerful enough to flatten two houses and seriously damage several more.
