To the Nurse At My Mom's Eye Doctor:

If you had bothered to read my mother's chart, you would've known that my mother had her eyes dialated six months ago and therefore, did not need to have them dialated again. You also would've known that my mother's eyesight is VERY poor and that it would've been very dangerous to dialate her eyes and then expect her to drive herself home. My mother was not expecting to have her eyes dialated and was expecting to go to work today. Your failure to do your job not only put my mother and other drivers' lives at risk, thankfully she was able to get home okay, but also cost her a personal day.

*Hugs* What makes me so mad is that since she didn't expect her eye were going to be dialated, I wasn't with her to drive and had no convenient way of getting to her.

omg.. hope u mom is okay.. that stupied the docter or nurse should have alway read the chart,,.o,o

She's okay, but she's going to tell the doctor what happened. It scared me to death, thinking of her driving herself home with dialated eyes and I had no real way of getting to her to drive her home. We've decided that from now on, I'll go with her to all her eye doctor appointments just so we can be sure that if this happens again, she'll be able to get home safely.
