A Saturday full of surprises

Well, today has been full of surprises. First, I was wanting to make a tofu dessert just to try it but wasn't sure if I could convince my dad to eat it if he knew it was tofu but I ended up telling him because he saw the ingredients and then he was disappointed when my mom couldn't find silken tofu at the store. Then, my dad asked me if I wanted to go with him and my mom to see Celtic Woman when they perform at the Murat Theater on my parents's anniversary. I knew that they were wanting to go, it was just going to depend on how expensive the tickets were and how much money they got back on their taxes but I wasn't expecting to be asked to go. I'm so excited!

Tofu is delicious but with soy sauce and some shallots, oh, and some shaved dry fish! But as a dessert...hmmm... Did you get to make it in the end??

I'm going to sound complete clueless here but who are the Celtic Woman? Are they singers??

No, I haven't gotten to make it yet. I'm hoping that when my parents go to the store they'll pick some up since we know where to find it. Yeah, Celtic Woman is a group of singers from Ireland who sing a variety of different music and my parents and I are huge fans. Yeah, it'll be 28 years this years.
